a.Stainless steel plate:

General term for stainless acid-resistant steel that resists the corrosion of atmosphere,acid,alkali,salt and other media.To achieve the stainless corrosion resistance,the content of chromium(Cr) is not less than 13%,in addition,nickel(Ni) or molybdenum can be added to increase the effect. Due to the different alloy types and contents, there are many types of stainless steel.


The characteristics of stainless steel plate: non-magnetic, good corrosion resistance, good brightness, high strength, certain elasticity, good plasticity, high temperature oxidation resistance, difficult processing technology, but excellent weldability, and expensive material costs. It is a good material for making sheet metal parts.


Commonly used surface treatment for stainless steel plates: wire drawing, passivation, chemical-coloring (black, color), electro-polishing, electrophoretic paint, screen printing on the surface, etc.


b.Aluminum and aluminum alloy plates:

Lighter and softer metal junction materials, due to the difference in composition and material, there are anti-rust aluminum plates, hard aluminum plates, forged aluminum plates, sheet metal parts, and commonly used aluminum plates for sheet metal chassis are anti-rust aluminum plates, followed by It is a hard aluminum plate.


The characteristics of aluminum plate: good corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, low strength, high plasticity, good processing technology, good weldability, but low strength and expensive material cost.  


Common surface treatments for aluminum plates: wire drawing, sand blasting,oxidation,nickel plating,spraying,screen printing,etc.


c.Copper plate (H62):

H62 is a copper-zinc alloy, the mechanical properties are related to the zinc content, and the general zinc content does not exceed 50%.

 

The characteristics of the copper plate: good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, good gloss, easy plastic processing, and expensive; H62 copper plate has good ductility and stamping, good resistance to seawater and atmospheric corrosion, but the body is prone to local corrosion.

 

Common surface treatment of copper plate: nickel plating, blackening oxidation, spraying, screen printing, etc.

 

d.Cold rolled steel plate:

Cold rolled thin steel plate is the abbreviation of ordinary carbon structural steel cold rolled plate, commonly known as cold plate. It is made of ordinary carbon structural steel hot-rolled steel strip, which is further cold-rolled to make a steel plate with a thickness of less than 4mm.

 

The characteristics of cold-rolled steel plate: the surface quality of the cold plate is good, the dimensional accuracy is high, but it is easy to rust, its mechanical properties and process performance are good, especially the stamping processing performance is good, and the cost is low.

 

Commonly used surface treatment for cold-rolled steel plates: color zinc plating, blue zinc plating, nickel plating, spray coating, silk screen printing, etc.

 

e.Electro-galvanized steel plate:

On the basis of cold-rolled steel plate, it is passivated by chromic acid electroplating, and a galvanized layer of zinc atoms is deposited on the surface, commonly known as electrolytic plate.

 

The characteristics of electro-galvanized steel sheet: the surface is not easy to be oxidized and rusted by air, its mechanical properties and stamping processing performance are the same as cold-rolled steel sheet, and the cost is higher than cold-rolled steel sheet.

 

The common surface treatment of electro-galvanized steel sheet: phosphating, spraying, screen printing, etc.

 

f.Aluminum-zinc plate:

Aluminum-zinc plate is a steel plate coated with aluminum-silicon alloy. The aluminum content is 90% and the silicon content is 10%.

The characteristics of aluminum-plated zinc plate: heat resistance and corrosion resistance are better than electro-galvanized steel plate. It has the same mechanical properties and stamping processing performance as electro-galvanized steel plate.

 

The cost is equal to electro-galvanized steel plate.Commonly used surface treatment of aluminum-plated zinc plate: phosphating, spraying, screen printing, etc.
