Machining Should Choose Cutting Amount Reasonably

2021-02-04

The good flexibility of CNC lathe processing. The high adjustment and high processing accuracy have long been paid attention by automobile manufacturers to meet the needs of every CNC lathe processing user. It has become the goal pursued by automobile manufacturing manufacturers. Yifeng machining is in the process of processing, each machine part strictly implements process discipline, reads the drawings, sees the control points, roughness and technical requirements of the relevant parts of each part, and determines the manufacturing process of the parts.

The process specification is one of the process documents that stipulates the process and operation method of parts. It is a process document written in a prescribed format under specific production conditions and used to guide production after approval.

The processing technology plan generally includes the following: the processing route of the workpiece, the specific content of each process, the equipment and equipment used, the inspection items and inspection methods of the workpiece, cutting parameters, time quota, etc. The cutting parameters should be selected reasonably during processing. For efficient metal cutting, the materials, tools and cutting conditions that need to be processed are the three main factors. This determines the processing time, tool life and processing quality. Economical and effective processing methods must be a reasonable choice for cutting conditions.

The three elements of cutting conditions: cutting speed, feed and cutting depth directly cause tool damage. As the cutting speed increases, the tip temperature increases, causing mechanical, chemical, and thermal wear. If the cutting speed is increased by 20%, the tool life will be reduced by 1%. In a very small range, there is a relationship between the feed conditions and the wear on the back of the tool. However, the feed rate is high, the cutting temperature increases, and the wear behind it is large. Its impact on the tool is less than the cutting speed. Although the cutting depth does not affect the tool as much as the cutting speed and feed rate, the hardened layer produced by the cutting material during deep cutting will also affect the service life of the tool.
