Painting
▁▁▁▁▁▁
Introduction
Painting involves spraying a layer of paint onto the surface of the part. Colors can be matched to a Pantone color number of the customer's choosing, while finishes range from matte to gloss to metallic.
Painting is commonly specified by engineers to enhance a part's appearance and corrosion resistance. In addition, painting can have a protective effect on parts. For example, surface painting is an effective method to protect metal from oxidation and corrosion.
