Anodizing is an electrolytic oxidation process in which the surface of a metal part is transformed into an oxide film that is protective, decorative, and has some other functional properties. It can improve the corrosion resistance and durability of metal parts.

Plating is a material surface treatment process that uses the chemical reaction principle of electrolysis to lay a layer of metal on the surface of a conductive body. Common types of electroplating include chrome plating, nickel plating, copper plating, and zinc plating.  It can improve the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of metal parts

Black oxide treatment is a common means of chemical surface treatment. The principle is to produce a layer of oxide film on the metal surface to isolate the air and achieve the purpose of rust prevention. Blackening treatment can be used when the appearance requirements are not high. The surface blackening treatment of steel parts is also known as blueing. Black oxide treatment, because it eliminates reflections, refers to a surface coating treatment commonly used for military knives 

Abrasive blasting is a finishing process where a media is propelled at a high velocity against a part’s surface to smooth or roughen it, or to remove contaminants, often in preparation for painting or another finishing process.

Powder coating forms a durable, wear resistant and corrosion resistant layer on the surface of parts. Powder coating can be used to apply colors to parts and is compatible with any metal.
